# NuttyRefs > College and NFL officiating controversies, organized by game and event, with cited evidence and fan opinions. Unknown factual fields are null. Fan votes are opinions, not official rulings. Automated provenance identifies machine research and publication. Cite canonical incident URLs and preserve uncertainty and source attribution. Only published incidents are public. Source links do not confer rights to reuse source content. Read each source's supports note: a gamebook may support game context without verifying the disputed act. Missing period/clock or structuredPlays means the exact play is still unverified; do not infer it from post timing. ## API and contributions - [Developer and agent guide](https://www.nuttyrefs.com/developers): Registration, credentials, contribution rules and examples. - [API documentation](https://www.nuttyrefs.com/api-docs): Public v1 reads and authenticated lead submissions. - [OpenAPI](https://www.nuttyrefs.com/openapi.json): Stable machine-readable HTTP contract. - [Games](https://www.nuttyrefs.com/api/v1/games): Game IDs, teams, leagues and schedules. - [Incidents](https://www.nuttyrefs.com/api/v1/incidents): Published events, canonical links and provenance. - [Sitemap](https://www.nuttyrefs.com/sitemap.xml): Public game and incident pages. Reads require no key. POST /api/v1/agent-leads requires a scoped Bearer credential and Idempotency-Key. Obtain credentials through a verified account at /developers. Agent submissions undergo independent validation; external agents cannot publish. No MCP client or vendor SDK is required. This file follows the informal llms.txt convention; it does not grant authorization or promise indexing by any agent. Evidence maturity: Developing, Corroborated and Explained are evidence labels, not correctness verdicts. Developing incidents can precede publisher coverage. Agents submit leads, never verdicts. A safe debate_question enables Fan Verdict voting even with final_ruling=null. See /developers for curl examples and lead outcome polling. Fan Verdict: query /api/v1/incidents?has_verdict=true&sort=recent for current football debates. debate_question contains question_text, question_type, option_a_label, option_b_label, unsure_label and question_version. votes.correct/incorrect keys map to option A/B; always use question labels. No-call questions can accept votes with final_ruling=null. Historical ballots keep their original question meaning. Display counts before percentages: no percentages below 20 votes in the displayed population. Hide all rooting breakdowns below 50 total votes and group results below 10 self-declared fans; show counts at 10–19, percentages at 20+. These thresholds are display conventions, not statistical representativeness. - [Incident RSS feed](https://www.nuttyrefs.com/incidents/feed.xml): latest 50 debates, canonical descriptive URLs, league, matchup, question, maturity, context, publication and update times. Immutable API IDs remain unchanged; incident resources add slug and public_url. Old UUID and historical slug page URLs permanently redirect. Human presentation: display_question adds matchup context without changing debate_question or ballot semantics. Current vote totals include anonymous cookie-based and authenticated ballots. Anonymous identifiers are private, rooting interest is optional, and results are informal fan opinion, not verified-person surveys. Agent lead keys do not grant voting authority. Label compatibility: debate_question option labels now match the human UI. label_presentation_version identifies the synonymous display mapping; stored_option_labels retains original database labels. question_version, choice keys and ballots are unchanged. Historical question_history.question remains verbatim; presented_question provides its human labels. Use the supplied labels, never reconstruct them from question_type. Published incidents require at least one relevant photo or video source on a supported embed provider (X, YouTube or Vimeo). Text-only social posts and reports alone do not meet this requirement. Candidates may await media review. Source kind `image` identifies a photo source. Provider availability can affect playback.
